Vivien Kunte, born in Düsseldorf in 1968, discovered her passion for painting and drawing at an early age. At the same time, she developed a deep sensitivity for touch and massage—always with the desire to help people. As a self-taught artist, she created her artistic language by experimenting with a wide variety of materials and techniques. She owes around 90 percent of her skills to her own research, observation, and experimentation—supported and encouraged by people who recognized her talent early on.
Her works, often in acrylic on canvas or in the form of objects, are characterized by a special color intensity: drawings on black photo cardboard in bright red, blue, green, and yellow or glass objects with fruity motifs are characteristic of her work.
With exhibitions in Düsseldorf, accompanied by press and TV reports, Vivien Kunte made a name for herself in the regional art scene. Her works combine a joy of experimentation with a sensitive perception of people and their inner worlds. What connects my art is the desire to set something in motion in the viewer—a feeling, a memory, a thought. Each picture is an invitation to look deeper, to feel, and to find your own story in it.
